Saddlers to support Her Game Too at Barrow fixture

8 March 2024

Walsall Football Club will be supporting Her Game Too at Tuesday’s match (12th March) against Barrow at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

In celebration of our female supporters, we will be holding a display of pictures of female fans on the scoreboard before the match.

If you wish to be part of the display, please email sam.hadwen@walsallfc.co.uk with a hi-res picture by 4pm on Monday 11th March.

The club will also support the Her Game Too campaign in the matchday programme and with flyers around the ground.

Her Game Too aims to raise awareness and educate about sexism in football to help create a safer, more welcoming environment at stadiums for women and girls.

The Saddlers officially partnered with Her Game Too back in September 2021.

Since the partnership began, posters have been displayed around the ground, while Her Game Too’s logo has been proudly displayed on the scoreboard on matchdays and on Walsall Women’s dedicated page in our matchday programme Saddlers Shout.

Elsewhere, with help from a kind donation from our Principal Partners Poundland, we also recently started providing free sanitary products.

We would also like to remind supporters of the text service (details below) we have in place to enable supporters to report incidents of sexism and all other forms of discrimination during matches.

To further strengthen our partnership and work closer with Her Game Too, we are keen to have a Walsall FC Her Game Too ambassador!

If you are interested in being our ambassador, you can apply on Her Game Too’s website here.
