A Guide to Walsall Football Club...

Walsall Football Club moved to the Banks's Stadium in August 1990 from Fellows Park, our home of 94 years. The Banks’s, originally known as Bescot Stadium, is an all-seater venue comprising four stands, with a total capacity of 11,300.

The two-tiered HomeServe Stand (Green Sector) was extended in 2003 and is the largest stand in the ground, accommodating just under 5,000 supporters. The remaining three stands – the Main Stand (Red Sector), St Francis Group Community Stand (Yellow Sector) and University of Wolverhampton Stand (Blue Sector) – are of the same height and follow a similar single-tiered design.

The corners are filled in with advertising hoardings and refreshment kiosks, with a large TV screen situated between the Community and University of Wolverhampton Stands. Corporate hospitality areas are available in the HomeServe and Main Stands, with disabled facilities at the front of the Community Stand. The Ticket Office and Club Shop are located at the front of the Main Stand.

The Banks’s Stadium is less than a mile from junction 9 of the M6.

Our official matchday programme can be purchased around the ground, and from the Banks's Stadium Ticket Office and Club Shop, for just £3.

Packed with content, this season's programme contains exclusive interviews with a current Saddlers player and a member of the 1998/99 promotion-winning team. There are columns from manager Dean Keates and club legend Mick Kearns, a comprehensive visitors' section and quirky stats in 'Stats Zone' - plus much, much more!

The programme was voted runner-up for League One by the Midlands Programme Club. They said: “The quality of the matchday programme for the 2018/19 season is excellent. However, yours stood out from the others and received some excellent feedback from the panel of judges for its layout, informative articles, pages with plenty of reading material, great use of colour, eye-catching first impression of the cover. Pages dedicated to the younger fan, features of the opposition and inclusion of community feature. Overall, a brilliant issue and great value for money at only £3.”

Stadium Policy

Supporters are reminded that only food and drink purchased from the Banks's Stadium can be consumed inside the ground. We have had problems with supporters bringing in their own food and drink, which is not allowed under our ground regulations and we ask for your cooperation. Certain items can be seen as a missile threat, therefore any food and drink that is attempted to be brought into the stadium will be confiscated by our stewards.
