Supporters Guide: Walsall v Grimsby Town

25 August 2023

Walsall are back at the Poundland Bescot Stadium as Grimsby Town visit WS1 tomorrow afternoon (3pm kick-off).

Here is a useful, detailed guide for supporters attending the match.

TICKETS

The Ticket Office will be open from 11am right up until kick-off!

Tickets are still available to purchase for the game. Buy online here.

Remember, supporters have until midnight tonight to take advantage of advance prices. There is a £2 price increase when buying on the day of the game.

We would like to remind supporters that Under 12s can watch all home league games for free by joining Swifty's Squad and attending each match with a full-paying adult or senior citizen.

Elsewhere, tickets for our trip to Swindon Town on Saturday 16th September will go on sale to Members at 9am tomorrow morning.

Want to beat the queues?

Scan the QR Code on one of the posters dotted around the stadium (see below) and you will be taken directly to our e-ticketing site.

We expect the Ticket Office to be very busy so please allow yourself plenty of time.

Supporters are reminded to please sit in the seat you are allocated.

TRAVEL ADVICE

There is a rail strike planned for tomorrow and while there are a limited number of services running, there will be no trains stopping at Bescot Stadium Station tomorrow.

Supporters are advised to avoid train travel.

We expect the roads and metro to be busier so please plan your journey and allow extra time when travelling to the stadium.

Follow @transportforwm on Twitter and Facebook for more information.

CLUB SHOP

The Club Shop at the Poundland Bescot Stadium will be open from 11am tomorrow morning.

We expect the shop to be busy so please allow yourself enough time to browse through our recently revamped store!

SUPPORTERS ZONE

The Supporters Zone in the undercroft between the Tile Choice Stand and Poundland Stand will be open from Midday tomorrow.

In this area supporters will find:

- Hot Food

- Bar

- Music

- Face Painting

- Inflatable Goal

JUNIOR FAN ZONE

The Junior Fan Zone in the Experienced Energy Solutions Community Stand will be open from 1pm on Saturday.

The Saddlers post-box, a popular addition to the area, allows young supporters to write a message to members of the first-team. If you’re in the Fan Zone tomorrow, be sure to leave a message with some contact details in the post-box and you will receive a reply.

TEXT SERVICE

We have a text service for supporters who can anonymously report any incidents they see inside or outside the stadium.

Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

If you see or hear any forms of discriminative behaviour during your visit, please text 07585 858 030 as soon as possible with details of the incident and location in the stadium so that it can be dealt with.

Please note that incidents that are reported after the game will be picked up during the normal office hours.

STADIUM SUITE

The Stadium Suite will be open from Midday to all home supporters.

It will also be open during the half time interval but will close at the end of the half-time break and will not be open after the game.

This will be the case for the entirety of the 2023/24 season.

We expect the suite to be busy before the match. It is licensed to a certain capacity and should we reach that capacity, we will be unable to accommodate further supporters so please be aware entry to the Stadium Suite is on a first come first serve basis.

Please note, the blinds in the suite will close 15 minutes before kick-off. This is a legislation that all Premier League and EFL clubs adhere to.

COMMUNITY HUB

The Mick Kearns Community Hub, situated in the lower tier of the Poundland Stand, will be open from Midday before the game. It will also be open at half time and after the final whistle to home supporters.

AWAY BARS

Grimsby Town supporters will have access to the away bar in the concourse of the away end.

Please note, there aren’t any pubs within walking distance of the stadium.

IFOLLOW

Saturday’s game will not be shown live on iFollow in the UK.

Audio passes are available to purchase for just £2.50 here.

PROGRAMMES

A new revamped edition of Saddlers Shout will be available to purchase around the ground, at the Ticket Office and at the Club Shop.

Our 80-page programme will include an update from Co-Chairman Ben Boycott, Co-Chairman Leigh Pomlett, the thoughts of Head Coach Mat Sadler and an exclusive interview with Saddlers defender Joe Foulkes.
