The Banks's Stadium will host the fixture, to be played before 7th November, though an exact date is yet to be decided.

The current crop of Walsall youngsters have enjoyed an impressive start to the new season and will now be looking to embark on an FA cup run.

Many of the second year scholars were involved in last seasons Midland Youth Cup success, providing a good foundation for this years cup campaigns.

"The thing that always excites us as both staff and players is the big game feel to the FA Youth Cup," Neil Woods said. The fact that it is played on the main first team pitch, in front of a few more spectators is always a good test of how we can deal with those occasions."

"It's always nice to play against teams with a big stature and it will be interesting to see the way they play.

"It's about finding out who enjoys these kind of nights and how they adjust and adapt to the game.

"We play in Midlands Youth Cup, the Walsall and Birmingham senior cups, all to create as many of these situations and scenarios as we can.

"We've won two of last three Midland Youth Cups so it suggests we deal pretty well.
