TEAM TALK v CARLISLE, 21/12/13

Boss looks ahead to pre-Christmas clash...

WE GO into the game with a fully fit squad once again, which is really good for us.

It will be another tough test as Graham Kavanagh has done really well since taking over at the Carlisle United helm. He has the opportunity to make a managerial career for himself and has pulled them up the League table.

He's passionate about what he does and is very educated in the game. We know that we will have to be at our best on Saturday, but we are looking forward to the challenge.

Our level of performance has been good; we've competed in every game so far, apart from Preston at home, and we've picked up some decent results along the way.

We secured a hard-earned win at Shrewsbury last weekend. That said, every victory in this League has to be fought for.

It's all about being consistent in our performances and the results will come. Any team can go on a good run at this level and there are certainly plenty of points available over the next couple of weeks.

That said, we won't be looking too far ahead. It's always been a case of taking it game-by-game and getting as many points as we can.

There is a real sense of purpose around this club. We've changed people's perceptions and I would like to think that we can enjoy a fruitful festive period.

Merry Christmas to you all...
