Donervon Daniels joined Walsall in January 2022 and had a real positive impact in the heart of the defence.
Daniels, who is the club captain, signed a new contract in July 2023 and is an influential figure in the Saddlers dressing room.
The defender spent 18 months at Crewe Alexandra prior to his move to the Poundland Bescot Stadium and made 31 appearances for the Railwaymen.
Daniels began his career at West Bromwich Albion. He enjoyed loan spells Tranmere Rovers, Gillingham, Blackpool, Aberdeen.
An injury disrupted the 2016-17 season before he joined Rochdale on loan for the 2017-18 season.
In 2018, he joined Blackpool where he spent a season before he joined Luton Town in the Championship a year later.
A loan spell at Doncaster Rovers followed before he made the switch to Crewe in the summer of 2020.
