Defender David Okagbue joined Walsall on loan from Stoke City on transfer deadline in the summer of 2023.
Okagbue has been a regular in Stoke’s Premier League 2 team in recent seasons and was part of their first team squad during pre-season and has also been named on their bench in the Championship this season.
The 19-year-old defender enjoyed a loan spell with Oldham Athletic during the 2022/23 season, playing 10 times for the National League side and gained valuable experience in men's football.
He also scored his first senior goal with the Latics in a 2-2 draw with Scunthorpe United last October.
The defender also had a loan spell at Chester FC in the 2021/22 season.
He also has five caps for Republic of Ireland Under 19s and he linked up with Ronan Maher last September for their UEFA European Under-19 Championship Qualifiers.
