Walsall’s League One fixture at Sheffield United on Saturday 8th October has been postponed due to international call-ups.Andreas Makris has been called up for Cyprus for their 2018 FIFA World Cup European Qualifying double-header against Greece on 7th October and away in Bosnia-Herzegovina three day later.
Maz Kouhyar has received a first call-up for the national football team of Afghanistan who travel to Malaysia for an international friendly match on 11th October.
Liam Kinsella will also link up with the Republic of Ireland Under-21s for their UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifier against Serbia, while compatriot Kevin Toner is on the standby list.
A new date for the game at Sheffield United will be announced in due course.
