During the school summer holidays, Walsall FC’s Community programme have been running Saddlers Soccer Schools on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9am until 3pm.A typical day consists of: fun warm-up games, technical and small sided games working on the fundamentals, a supervised free time and a World Cup competition in the afternoon.
On the last day of each course we run a penalty competition; the winner will then represent that course in a grand final before a Walsall FC home fixture.
Boys and girls aged 6 to 14 are welcome to attend and we have engaged with over 160 children since the start of the summer.
We still have plenty of places available for the reminder of the school holidays.
