Talented midfielder Jack Earing signed for the Saddlers in June 2021 from FC Halifax Town.
Earing impressed in his first season but his second campaign was marred by injuries. In January 2023, he sustained a long-term knee injury which curtailed his campaign.
In June 2023, Earing signed a new short-term contract to remain at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.
He began his career at Bolton Wanderers where he made a handful of first team appearances, including one against West Ham United at the London Stadium in the Carabao Cup.
He enjoyed a loan spell at Curzon Ashton in January 2019 before he moved to Halifax on a permanent basis later that summer.
He had periods on loan at Spennymoor Town and Farsley Celtic in his first season but it was in his second campaign at the Shay where he really excelled as he scored eight times and became a key player in the Shaymen’s midfield.
His performances attracted interest from a number of EFL clubs but the Saddlers won the race for his signature.
