Creative midfielder Isaac Hutchinson joined the Saddlers from Derby County in June 2022.
He impressed in his first season at the Poundland Bescot Stadium, scoring eight goals while he also reached the 50 appearance milestone.
The 22-year-old spent eight years in Brighton & Hove Albion’s youth system and attracted interest from Sparta Prague before he joined Southend United in 2018.
He made a dream start at Roots Hall, scoring on his debut in a 3-1 win over Cambridge United in the EFL Trophy.
Hutchinson played 40 times for the Shrimpers and caught the eye of Derby who signed him in October 2020 and he made his Rams debut in the FA Cup against Chorley in January 2021.
Later that month, he signed for Forest Green Rovers on loan and helped them qualify for the play-offs.
He returned to Pride Park in the summer of 2021 and scored his first goal for Derby in a Carabao Cup tie against Salford City in August.
Hutchinson was on the move again in January 2022 as he joined Crawley Town on loan and scored twice in 19 appearances, including a cracking strike against the Saddlers back in April.
