Full-back Liam Bennett joined on loan from Cambridge United in June 2022.
The 20-year-old played 10 times for the U’s last term, including 90 minutes against the Saddlers in the Papa John’s Trophy last November.
He enjoyed a short loan spell at Hemel Hempstead Town early in the 2021/22 season and was recently rewarded with a new contract at the Abbey Stadium.
The defender began his career at AFC Sudbury where he impressed to earn a trial at Cambridge before signing for their partner club St Neots Town.
While training with Cambridge’s first team and playing for St Neots, he earned his first professional deal and made his debut in August 2021.
