Callum Cockerill-Mollett

Walsall's 2016/17 Apprentice of the Season earned a new contract in July 2020 after a promising season under Darrell Clarke.

He made 15 appearances during the 2019-20 season before it was cut short by an injury in January 2020.

The Leicester-born left-back signed his first professional contract in August 2016 and made his senior debut in a 5-2 Checkatrade Trophy victory over Grimsby later that month.

As well as captaining the Youth Team, the teenager helped the Development Squad win the Central League North West Division title and Walsall Senior Cup in 2016/17.

He was also shortlisted for League One LFE Apprentice of the Year and received his first international call-up by Republic of Ireland Under-18s in April 2017.

Injury restricted him to just one senior outing in 2017/18, while he enjoyed loan spells with Telford and Chasetown during the 2018/19 season.
