Simon is a seasoned and dedicated football coach who brings a wealth of experience to the field with a coaching career spanning over 20 years at the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Coventry City. He also coached overseas in the USA.
He began his journey as a coach at the grassroots level, nurturing young talents and instilling in them a love for the game. Over time, Simon moved into the football academy system and worked with college programmes.
Throughout his coaching career, Simon has witnessed numerous players develop into exceptional athletes, many of whom have gone on to compete in the Premier League or Football League.
His coaching philosophy revolves around fostering a positive and empowering environment for players to thrive, instilling discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic in players he coaches.
Simon will strive to develop players technically but also to cultivate their confidence and mental strength, preparing them for challenges both on and off the field.
In addition to coaching, Simon will also prioritise the holistic development of players and encourage them to excel academically and maintain a balanced lifestyle that includes proper nutrition and mental wellbeing.
