Walsall Football Club will be supporting Level Playing Field’s Unite for Access campaign at tomorrow’s match against Doncaster Rovers.
The campaign is an annual period of inspiration and celebration of good access and inclusion at sports venues.
An estimated 24% of the UK population is disabled, making disabled people the largest minority group in the UK.
Level Playing Field’s ‘Unite for Access’ campaign celebrates access and inclusion for disabled fans at sporting events throughout England and Wales, raising awareness and driving equality for a more inclusive matchday experience for disabled sports fans.
Year after year the campaign helps to recognise why watching live sport is so important to disabled supporters and what clubs do to deliver this as we come together to mark the occasion.
To celebrate the campaign, players will be wearing Level Playing Field Warm Up T-shirts as well as further matchday activity on the day!
