Walsall Football Club made a donation of food parcels to two foodbanks last week.
Head Coach Mat Sadler, Captain Donervon Daniels, Priestley Farquharson, Harry Williams, Joe Riley and Jamille Matt dropped food parcels off at Bloxwich and Blakenall Foodbank and Walsall North Foodbank respectively.
As well as donations from the club, we received parcels from our partners Poundland and Saddlers fans as well which ensured we had plenty to donate to both foodbanks in a bid to support as many people as possible in the community.
Walsall Football Club will continue to support both foodbanks and we plan to do another drop off during the summer holidays, which can prove to be a tough time for many families.
