We caught up with Ryan Stirk after Tuesday’s match against Doncaster Rovers.
The midfielder has started each of the last two games and is keen to continue his run in the team in the final four matches of the campaign.
The Saddlers will be looking to bounce back from Tuesday’s defeat when they start a run of three consecutive home games against Notts County on Saturday.
Stirk insists the team are purely focused on the next task and he is eager to build on his performances in recent starts and get back to winning ways.
“I’ve been back in for a few games, I feel like I’m getting back up to fitness so I’m pleased with that but I want to get results,” he said.
“It’s a results industry and where we want to be, we need to pick up results and I’m sure we will.
“It wasn’t going to be decided (on Tuesday), we knew that. We’re three points off it with three home games and with our fans and the way we play at home, who knows?
“We’re going to take each game one at a time and try and win every game. All the lads in there know what it’s going to take.
“We’re going to take it game by game and hopefully get as most points as we can.”
