Supporters Guide: Walsall v MK Dons

3 October 2023

Walsall return to Sky Bet League Two action at the Poundland Bescot Stadium this evening as Mat Sadler’s team host Milton Keynes Dons (7.45pm kick-off).

Here is a useful guide for supporters attending tonight’s game.

TICKETS

The Ticket Office will be open right up until kick-off tonight!

Tickets are still available to purchase for the game. Buy online here.

We would like to remind supporters that Under 12s can watch all home league games for free by joining Swifty's Squad and attending each match with a full-paying adult or senior citizen.

Want to beat the queues?

Scan the QR Code on one of the posters dotted around the stadium (see below) and you will be taken directly to our e-ticketing site.

We expect the Ticket Office to be very busy so please allow yourself plenty of time.

Supporters are reminded to please sit in the seat you are allocated.

TRAVEL

Rail: An overtime ban will be in place across the UK rail network on:

  • Monday 2 October  - Friday 6 October

Services may be subject to alteration on these dates impacting first and last services of the day. Please check with West Midlands Railway for up to date information.

Road: There will be a long term closure of the hard shoulder on both sides of the M6 between Junctions 6 & 7,  meaning reduced capacity. A 50mph speed limit will also be in place. These works are in place until mid-2024. For further information visit National Highways

Travel Advice

You may experience congestion travelling into Birmingham on the M6 southbound and travelling out of Birmingham on the A38M northbound to the M6 north. The north link road will close at 11pm and a diversion will be in place. There may be an impact on local roads approaching these junctions and on potential alternative routes.

CLUB SHOP

The Club Shop at the Poundland Bescot Stadium will also be open until kick-off tonight.

We expect the shop to be busy so please allow yourself enough time to browse through our recently revamped store!

Swifty’s post box will also be in the Club Shop for young supporters to write letters to Swifty or the players!

SUPPORTERS ZONE

The Supporters Zone in the undercroft between the Tile Choice Stand and Poundland Stand will be open from 5.30pm this evening.

In this area supporters will find:

- Hot Food
- Bar
- Music

JUNIOR FAN ZONE

The Junior Fan Zone in the Experienced Energy Solutions Community Stand will be open from 6pm this evening.

There is a ball pit and Play Stations in this area so be sure to pop in before the game.

TEXT SERVICE

We have a text service for supporters who can anonymously report any incidents they see inside or outside the stadium.

Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

If you see or hear any forms of discriminative behaviour during your visit, please text 07585 858 030 as soon as possible with details of the incident and location in the stadium so that it can be dealt with.

Please note that incidents that are reported after the game will be picked up during the normal office hours.

STADIUM SUITE

The Stadium Suite will be open from 6pm to all home supporters.

It will also be open during the half time interval but will close at the end of the half-time break and will not be open after the game.

This will be the case for the entirety of the 2023/24 season.

We expect the suite to be busy before the match. It is licensed to a certain capacity and should we reach that capacity, we will be unable to accommodate further supporters so please be aware entry to the Stadium Suite is on a first come first serve basis.

Please note, the blinds in the suite will close 15 minutes before kick-off. This is a legislation that all Premier League and EFL clubs adhere to.

COMMUNITY HUB

The Mick Kearns Community Hub, situated in the lower tier of the Poundland Stand, will be open from 6pm before the game. It will also be open at half time and after the final whistle to home supporters.

AWAY BARS

MK Dons supporters will have access to the away bar in the concourse of the away end.

Please note, there aren’t any pubs within walking distance of the stadium.
