Walsall Football Club are pleased to announce that Oisin McEntee has signed a new contract that will keep him at the Poundland Bescot Stadium until 2025!
The 22-year-old has been a mainstay in the Saddlers team this season and has impressed in his newly found midfield role.
The Irishman has made 35 appearances and has scored three times during his time in WS1.
McEntee moved to the Poundland Bescot Stadium in the summer of 2022 from Newcastle United.
He had to wait until November 2022 to make his debut after suffering a shoulder injury while on international duty with Republic of Ireland Under 21s but he has since shown his quality in both defence and midfield.
McEntee was delighted to put pen to paper on fresh terms.
“I’m delighted to finally get it over the line,” he said.
“I love it here at the club, in and around the training ground.
“The support from the fans has been brilliant. I have a gaffer who believes in me, I love going into training every day, all the boys get along and it’s the happiest I’ve been in football in a long time.
“I just want to kick on from where I am now, I just want to play every game that I can, get on the scoresheet, get some wins and get us as high up the table as we can.”
