Head Coach Mat Sadler expressed his delight at seeing three of his players receive international call-ups with Donervon Daniels, Brandon Comley and Liam Gordon all going away to represent their nations.
Captain Daniels and midfielder Comley will both be representing Montserrat and full-back Gordon will be heading off for the third time this season to represent Guyana.
It’s the first time in over two years that Daniels will be representing his country with his only previous appearance coming in a 4-0 win over the US Virgin Islands back in June 2021.
“I am absolutely delighted for both Brandon and Donervon for their call-ups to add to the Liam Gordon call-up as well,” said Sadler.
“For me, to have three internationals in the group says a bit about the group that we have and I am extremely proud of all three of the guys to go away and represent their countries and we should be proud as a football club with the things that they are achieving and for the esteem that they are held in within their countries.
“I am really pleased for those three and they go with all of our best wishes. We look forward to welcoming them back after they have been away but whilst they are away, we are really proud of all of their achievements.”
