Supporters Guide: Walsall v Doncaster Rovers

5 May 2023

The Saddlers host Doncaster Rovers at the Poundland Bescot Stadium on Monday 8th May for our final game of the Sky Bet League Two season.

We would like to remind supporters that it is a 12.30pm kick-off.

Here is a useful, detailed guide for supporters attending the match.

Prior to the game, we will be presenting our end of season awards.

This will be held pitchside at 11.45am. Our Supporters Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season, Apprentice of the Season, Community Player of the Season and scorer of our Goal of the Season will all handed their awards.

Supporters are encouraged to arrive early if they wish to watch the presentation!

Prior to kick-off, we will be celebrating and recognising the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III with the playing of the National Anthem.

We will also be holding a minute’s applause prior to the game to remember Saddlers supporters who have sadly passed away during the 2022/23 season.

The Ticket Office will be open from 9am on Monday.

Tickets for the game are still available to purchase either from the Ticket Office or via our e-ticketing site here.

A reminder that it is our Fiver Finale and supporters with any booking history this season can purchase a ticket in any area of the stadium for just £5 and will be able to do so from the Ticket Office window on the day.

We would like to remind supporters that Under-12s can watch all home league games for free by joining Swifty's Squad and attending each match with a full-paying adult or senior citizen.

Want to beat the queues?

We have now introduced the option for supporters to scan a QR code to purchase tickets (see below).

Posters will also be dotted around the ground; simply scan the code and you will be taken directly to our e-ticketing site.

Supporters are reminded to please sit in the seat you are allocated.

We have a new Supporters Zone in the undercroft between the Tile Choice Main Stand and Poundland Stand.

In this area at Monday's game, supporters will find:

- A concession unit

- A bar

This area will open at 10am on Monday but please be aware that the bar will only be serving alcohol from 11am.

Please note, the concession unit that was located behind the Lower Tier of the Poundland Stand has now been discontinued.

The Junior Fan Zone in the Experienced Energy Solutions Community Stand will be open from 11am on Monday.

The Saddlers post-box, a popular addition to the area, allows young supporters to write a message to members of the first-team. If you’re in the Fan Zone tomorrow, be sure to leave a message with some contact details in the post-box and you will receive a reply.

We have a text service for supporters who can anonymously report any incidents they see inside or outside the stadium.

Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

If you see or hear any forms of discriminative behaviour during your visit, please text 07585 858 030 as soon as possible with details of the incident and location in the stadium so that it can be dealt with.

Please note that incidents that are reported after the game will be picked up during the normal office hours.

The Stadium Suite will be open from 10am to all home supporters.

It will also be open during the half-time interval but will close at the end of the half-time break and will not be open after the game.

This will be the case for the entirety of the 2022/23 season.

We expect the suite to be busy before the match. It is licensed to a certain capacity and should we reach that capacity, we will be unable to accommodate further supporters so please be aware entry to the Stadium Suite is on a first come first serve basis.

The Mick Kearns Community Hub situated in the lower tier will be open from 10am before the game, at half time and after the final whistle to home supporters.

Doncaster supporters will have access to the away bar in the concourse of the away end.

Please note, there aren’t any pubs within walking distance of the stadium.

The latest edition of Saddlers Shout will be available around the ground, at the Ticket Office and at the Club Shop.

Monday’s edition will have an exclusive interview with Jackson Smith.

Be sure to grab yourselves a copy on matchday for £4!
