Supporters Guide: Walsall v Gillingham

17 March 2023

The Saddlers are back at the Poundland Bescot Stadium tomorrow as we welcome Gillingham in Sky Bet League Two.

Here is a useful, detailed guide for supporters attending the match.

Tomorrow’s match is Walsall FC Foundation’s School Partners match.

The initiative will see school children from all around the borough in attendance, filling up the Experienced Energy Solutions stand.

There will be 1688 young supporters in attendance which is the highest total the initiative has ever achieved.

There will be a rail strike taking place tomorrow and while West Midlands Railway will be running a very limited service, trains will not be stopping at Bescot Station between 1pm-3pm and 5pm-6pm tomorrow.

The Ticket Office will be open from 9am tomorrow for supporters looking to purchase season tickets following the launch of our Early Bird campaign.

Supporters can purchase season tickets up until 12pm from the ticket office window tomorrow.

Tickets for tomorrow’s game are still available to purchase either from the Ticket Office or via our e-ticketing site here.

We would like to remind supporters that Under-12s can watch all home league games for free by joining Swifty's Squad and attending each match with a full-paying adult or senior citizen.

Click here for more information on ticket prices.

Want to beat the queues?

We have now introduced the option for supporters to scan a QR code to purchase tickets (see below).

Posters will also be dotted around the ground; simply scan the code and you will be taken directly to our e-ticketing site.

Supporters are reminded to please sit in the seat you are allocated.

We have a new Supporters Zone in the undercroft between the Tile Choice Main Stand and Poundland Stand.

In this area at tomorrow’s game, supporters will find:

- A concession unit

- A bar

There will also be a glitter tattoo artist in this area at tomorrow’s match.

There will be an additional concession unit outside the Experienced Energy solutions stand at tomorrow’s match.

Please note, the concession unit behind the Poundland Lower Tier will discontinue after this fixture.

The Junior Fan Zone in the Experienced Energy Solutions Community Stand will be open from 1pm tomorrow.

The Saddlers post-box, a popular addition to the area, allows young supporters to write a message to members of the first-team. If you’re in the Fan Zone tomorrow, be sure to leave a message with some contact details in the post-box and you will receive a reply.

We have a text service for supporters who can anonymously report any incidents they see inside or outside the stadium.

Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

If you see or hear any forms of discriminative behaviour during your visit, please text 07585 858 030 as soon as possible with details of the incident and location in the stadium so that it can be dealt with.

Please note that incidents that are reported after the game will be picked up during the normal office hours.

It will also be open during the half-time interval but will close at the end of the half-time break and will not be open after the game.

This will be the case for the entirety of the 2022/23 season.

We expect the suite to be busy before the match. It is licensed to a certain capacity and should we reach that capacity, we will be unable to accommodate further supporters so please be aware entry to the Stadium Suite is on a first come first serve basis.

The Mick Kearns Community Hub situated in the lower tier will be open before the game, at half time and after the final whistle to home supporters.

Gillingham supporters will have access to the away bar in the concourse of the away end.

Please note, there aren’t any pubs within walking distance of the stadium.

The latest edition of Saddlers Shout will be available around the ground, at the Ticket Office and at the Club Shop.

We have an exclusive interview with Liam Kinsella and Jamille Matt picks his dream five-a-side team of players he has played with.
