Supporters Guide: Walsall v Wrexham

29 December 2023

Walsall are back at the Poundland Bescot Stadium this evening (7.45pm kick-off) to take on Wrexham AFC.

A bumper crowd is expected this evening so we would like to advise supporters to arrive early as we will be busier than normal.

Here is a useful guide for supporters attending the match.

We’re thrilled to have our friends at Acorns Children’s Hospice join us here at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

We have a special relationship with Acorns and we’re proud to continue our support.

We’ve seen first-hand the difference their care and support can do for local life limited children and their families.

As a charity, Acorns needs our help to continue their work. Their army of volunteers are at tonight’s raising funds towards Acorns vital care. So, when you see their bucket collectors around, please dig deep. They also have card readers for any of you who don’t have cash and still want to show your support.

They will also have activities in the Fan Zone.

Together, we can help Acorns be stronger for local children and families when they need them most.

Supporters who are sat in the Experienced Energy Solutions stand will be required to walk through the undercroft of the Poundland Stand when exiting after tonight's match

Fans in the Poundland Stand will also be required to turn left when exiting the stadium.

This is a request from the authorities as a result of the high volume of visiting supporters.

Stewards will guide supporters upon exit of the stadium.

The Club Shop at the Poundland Bescot Stadium will also be open right until kick-off.

Head over to take advantage of our sale on selected Errea items!

We expect the shop to be busy so please allow yourself enough time to browse through our recently revamped store!

The Supporters Zone in the undercroft between the Tile Choice Stand and Poundland Stand will be open from 5.30pm.

In this area supporters will find:

- Hot Food

- Bar

- Music

- Inflatable Goal

- Inflatable Dart Board

- Acorns activities

The Junior Fan Zone will not be open at tonight’s game.

This is due to Wrexham fans being housed in that area.

We have a text service for supporters who can anonymously report any incidents they see inside or outside the stadium.

Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

If you see or hear any forms of discriminative behaviour during your visit, please text 07585 858 030 as soon as possible with details of the incident and location in the stadium so that it can be dealt with.

Please note that incidents that are reported after the game will be picked up during the normal office hours.

The Stadium Suite will be open from 6pm to all home supporters.

It will also be open during the half time interval but will close at the end of the half-time break and will not be open after the game.

This will be the case for the entirety of the 2023/24 season.

We expect the suite to be busy before the match. It is licensed to a certain capacity and should we reach that capacity, we will be unable to accommodate further supporters so please be aware entry to the Stadium Suite is on a first come first serve basis.

Please note, the blinds in the suite will close 15 minutes before kick-off. This is a legislation that all Premier League and EFL clubs adhere to.

The Mick Kearns Community Hub, situated in the lower tier of the Poundland Stand, will be open from 6pm. It will also be open at half time and after the final whistle to home supporters.

Wrexham supporters will have access to the away bar in the concourse of the away end.

Visiting supporters who are housed in the Experienced Energy Solutions Stand will also have access to a bar located in the Junior Fan Zone.

Please note, there aren’t any pubs within walking distance of the stadium.
