Essential guide for supporters attending AFC Wimbledon match

7 October 2022

The Saddlers return to the Poundland Bescot Stadium tomorrow as we welcome AFC Wimbledon in Sky Bet League Two.

Here is a useful guide for supporters attending tomorrow’s game.

Tickets for tomorrow’s game are still available to purchase.

The Ticket Office is open right up until kick-off.

Alternatively, you can purchase via our e-ticketing site here.

If you are heading to the Ticket Office tomorrow, why not take advantage of our link-up offer for our upcoming home matches against Harrogate Town and Rochdale.

We would like to remind supporters that Under-12s can watch all home league games for free by joining Swifty's Squad and attending each match with a full-paying adult or senior citizen.

Click here for more information on ticket prices.

Want to beat the queues?

We have now introduced the option for supporters to scan a QR code to purchase tickets, see below.

Posters will also be dotted around the ground; simply scan the code and you will be taken directly to our e-ticketing site.

Supporters are reminded to please sit in the seat you are allocated.

The Club Shop at the Poundland Bescot Stadium is open right up until kick-off this evening.

Please allow yourself plenty of time to be able to browse around the shop.

We’re thrilled to welcome our friends at Acorns Children’s Hospice to the Poundland Bescot Stadium for their first matchday takeover of this season at tomorrow’s game against AFC Wimbledon.

Supporters are encouraged to bring a pound to the ground as Acorns amazing volunteers will be holding bucket collections across the grounds in aid of the Acorns Room to Grow Appeal, which aims to raise £750,000 towards the major refurbishment of the charity’s Black Country hospice.

Acorns will be outside the ground before and after the game and inside the stadium during half-time. You’ll also find Volunteers in the hospitality suite and the Community Hub.

And for those supporters who forget to bring change and still want to help Acorns create a children’s hospice for the future, volunteers will have card payment terminals too to make donating even easier, and QR codes on buckets which will take you straight to Acorns online donation page.

There will be an Acorns gazebo outside the ground, where you can find traditional family fun and games, plus information about the Appeal and how to support Acorns in our ‘Saddlers Shout’ matchday programme and on the big screen.

And you won’t want to miss Acorns much-loved mascot Alex Acorn who will be joining Volunteers for the matchday takeover.

For more details on the Acorns Room to Grow Appeal, click here.

We would like to remind supporters that there is a rail strike tomorrow and therefore, no services running to Bescot Stadium station.

Please plan your journey accordingly.

We have a new Supporters Zone in the undercroft between the Tile Choice Main Stand and Poundland Stand.

In this area at tomorrow’s game, supporters will find:

- A concession unit

- A bar

- Inflatable goal

- A DJ

- Face painting

There will also be a concession unit in the Poundland Stand.

The Junior Fan Zone in the Experienced Energy Solutions Community Stand will be open from 1pm tomorrow.

Last season we launched a text service for supporters who can anonymously report any incidents they see inside or outside the stadium.

Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

If you see or hear any forms of discriminative behaviour, please text 07585 858 030 with details of the incident and location in the stadium to report it.

Audio match passes are also available for just £2.50 for tomorrow’s game.

International supporters can watch live for £10. Please note, the game will not be streamed live in the UK.

More details here.

The Stadium Suite will be open from 12pm to all home supporters.

It will also be open during the half-time interval but will close at the end of the half-time break and will not be open after the game.

This will be the case for the entirety of the 2022/23 season.

We expect the suite to be busy before the match. It is licensed to a certain capacity and should we reach that capacity, we will be unable to accommodate further supporters so please be aware entry to the Stadium Suite is on a first come first serve basis.

The Mick Kearns Community Hub, situated in the lower tier, will be open before the game and at half time to supporters in the lower tier.

It will also be open after the game to ALL home supporters.

AFC Wimbledon supporters in the traditional away end behind the goal will have access to the away bar in the concourse.

We would like to inform supporters that all cash cards will expire on 1st January 2023.

The cash cards were introduced at the start of the 2021/22 season to aid the transition from cash to cashless.

The expiry of cash cards will bring us in line with other cashless venues and make us a fully cashless stadium.

Please ensure all remaining credit is used by this date.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Our programme, Saddlers Shout, will be available around the ground, at the Ticket Office and at the Club Shop.

This edition also includes an exclusive interview with Liam Gordon and Danny Johnson picks his dream five-a-side team of players he has played with.

Pick up a copy for just £3!

We would like to remind all supporters that the Poundland Bescot Stadium is a cashless venue.
