Michael Flynn heaps praise on fantastic Saddlers support

18 March 2022

Saddlers Head Coach Michael Flynn has once again praised the support given to his side by the fans as his team will play in front of a sold out away end when they take on Harrogate Town on Saturday afternoon.

Walsall supporters sold out two allocations of tickets for the trip to take on Town meaning there will be nearly 600 in attendance at the EnviroVent Stadium.

The support this season hasn’t gone unnoticed and Flynn has once again hailed the fantastic effort and is hoping his side can send the Saddlers faithful home happy.

“The support has been fantastic since I’ve been here and like I’ve said before it’s always been fantastic,” Flynn started.

“It’s a good following filling the away end especially with our league position, let’s not dress it up.

“I think it’s a fantastic effort by the supporters and let’s just hope that we can give them something to smile about on Saturday.

“I’m expecting a tough game as is every League Two game.

“I’ll say it probably most weeks that I speak with you; there’s no easy games in this division and no given right to get the three points so we’ve got to be on the front-foot and take the game to Harrogate because it’s going to be a tough test.”
