Saddlers partner with Phoenix Consortia for 2022/23

Walsall Football Club are delighted to have partnered with Phoenix Consortia for the forthcoming 2022/2023 season.

Phoenix Consortia operate a group of specialist companies offering roofing, cladding and solar solutions within the commercial, industrial, retail and educational sectors within the UK refurbishment market.

Incorporating SPV Special Projects Ltd, a longstanding partner of Walsall Football Club having being a Commercial Partner for the last eight years, Howard Evans Roofing and Cladding Ltd, Ivor Parnham Building Services Ltd and SPV Energy Management Systems, Phoenix Consortia offers a multitude of disciplines and services to provide the complete building package.

Supporting their commitment to the partnership with Walsall Football Club, Phoenix consortia launched their new group of companies on the 6th May at Walsall Club. 

The event, attended by the 100 staff employed within the group companies came together to celebrate the official launch of the Consortia of companies coming together under a new umbrella. 

In addition to matchday, mascot and hospitality experiences included in the partnership, the Club will be supporting SPV’s construction pathway apprentice training programme for 16 to 18 year olds, ‘Building Futures’ with targeted digital marketing at all home fixtures at Poundland Bescot Stadium. 

Furthermore, the stadium will host conferences and providing elite teamwork and personal development insight for the Training Academy apprentices via appearances from the first team playing squad and management team.

Head of Commercial and Retail Adam Brearley said: “We are delighted to not only continue our longstanding partnership with SPV, but to also welcome on board Howard Evans Roofing and Cladding Ltd, Ivor Parnham Building Services Ltd and SPV Energy Management Systems.

"They continue to grow and thrive as a business and this is something everyone at the Club is proud of and we are looking forward to continuing to develop our relationship”.

SPV Director Sandra Evans commented: “SPV Special Projects are pleased to partnership with Walsall Football Club for the 2022-2023 season.

"The SPV Values align extremely well with the values of Walsall FC, in particular their youth work and their community programme.

"We are delighted they will be assisting with supporting our Building Futures Training Scheme which is delivered in conjunction with Juniper Training and is a first of its kind pathway course offering an unique insight into the construction industry and offering excellent progression into the industry which has supported over 60 students into the industry over the past two years since conception”
