Walsall Football Club can today confirm that midfielder Sam Perry has completed a season-long loan move to National League side Yeovil Town.
The 20-year-old made 25 appearances in all competitions for the Saddlers during the 2021/22 season, scoring one goal which came in the 2-0 win over Port Vale in April.
Head Coach Michael Flynn believes the move is a good one for Perry and that it will be a good chance for him to continue his development as a footballer.
“It is a good move for Sam,” Flynn said. “It is a chance for him to play regular football and to continue his development at a club where I know it will be done right with the manager and assistant manger at Yeovil and I wish him all the best for the season.”
We wish Sam all the best during his loan spell with The Glovers and hope they both have successful seasons.
