Walsall Football Club can today confirm that forward Brendan Kiernan has today joined Grimsby Town on a six-month loan.
The 29-year-old played 41 times for the Saddlers last season, scoring six times in all competitions, after joining from Harrogate Town in the summer of 2021.
Head Coach Michael Flynn wished Brendan well for his move to the Mariners and feels it is a good opportunity for him.
"Brendan wanted to be guaranteed first team football and the move to Grimsby provides him with an opportunity to get league minutes under his belt," Flynn said.
"He has applied himself well during pre-season with us and we wish him all the best for the duration of his loan spell."
