Walsall defender Rollin Menayese insists the team will need to keep their focus when they face Bradford City tomorrow afternoon.
The Saddlers will be aiming to pick up their first away victory of the season at the Utilita Energy Stadium.
Despite suffering their first league defeat of the season against Leyton Orient last weekend, Bradford are currently third in the Sky Bet League Two table and Menayese is expecting a difficult test in front of over 15,000 spectators in West Yorkshire.
“Everyone knows Bradford are a good team and it’s a tough place to go, especially with the crowd back,” he said.
“They’ve started the season quite well and it’s a place where we know we have to be at it.
“In games you can hear the crowd and that’s a place you can go and the crowd will be bouncing so I think we’ve just got to keep our heads, play the game and focus on getting three points.”
Walsall picked up their first win of the season against Stevenage last Saturday.
Menayese is confident the team can build on that victory and feels it’s given the squad a lift.
“I think it was massive because you want to get off to a good start, you want to set foundations for the season and the sooner you can do that, the more you can build from it,” he commented.
“It gave everyone a big boost of confidence and it felt like a pressure slightly lift off our shoulders and I feel like we should have got more out of the games we previously played but we’re going with a lot of confidence because we believe that we’re a good side and if we play well we can beat anyone.”
