The FA has today published their annual report from signatory clubs of the Football Leadership & Diversity Code for the period September 1st 2020 and August 31st 2021.
The Football Leadership Diversity Code for the elite game launched in October 2020 and now has over 50 signatories across the top tiers of the men’s and women’s game, which as of October 2021, includes all Premier League clubs, as well as The FA, Premier League, EFL, and seven recruitment partners.
In the inaugral year of the Football Leadership and Diversity Code, Walsall Football Club is pleased to report positive progress towards achieving the targets set by the Code.
Whilst it was not possible to meet the pledges in every aspect due to the very limited number of appointments made during the period, it gives the club a solid base from which to build upon.
The Club is fully committed to the Code and increasing diversity across all departments.
