Walsall Football Club are pleased to confirm that Acorns Children’s Hospice will feature as our sleeve sponsor for tomorrow’s Emirates FA Cup match at King’s Lynn Town.
The Club has been supporting Acorns in recent years and will continue to support and raise awareness of the fantastic work they do across the Black Country.
Saddlers Chairman Leigh Pomlett is delighted to be able to offer sleeve sponsorship to Acorns for tomorrow's match.
“Walsall Football Club has been supporting Acorns for over two years as one of our chosen charities,” he said.
“The FA Cup gives us an opportunity to further support them by putting their logo on our shirts for the match against King’s Lynn Town.
“We will continue to support Acorns throughout the whole season.”
Noel Cramer, Director of Supporter Engagement at Acorns, said: “This incredible gesture of sleeve sponsorship for Acorns during Walsall FC’s FA Cup clash against Kings Lynn Town this weekend is a really great example of a Club with deep roots in its community and builds on the help for Acorns during these toughest of times for everyone. This will shine a welcome spotlight on our vital children’s hospice care.
“We have been thrilled here at Acorns to enjoy a very special relationship with Walsall FC and their supporters over the last three years. Their support during some of our most challenging years has not only helped us to secure the long-term future of our hospice in the Black Country for the benefit of children and families right in here in Walsall, but it has enabled us to keep the doors to this local lifeline open every single day of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Everyone at Acorns is humbled by, and sincerely grateful for, this latest remarkable gesture. We wish Walsall FC the very best of luck in this weekend’s FA Cup match – we’ll all be cheering you on!”
