Mark Bradley leaves Walsall

28 June 2021

We can confirm that Strength & Conditioning Coach Mark Bradley has left Walsall Football Club.

Bradley has been part of the club’s backroom staff since 2017 which included a year with the club’s academy in 2018-19 before returning to the first team set up in May 2019.

The 33-year-old also made 104 appearances as a player between 2005 and 2010.

On his decision to leave the club, Bradley said: “It’s been a hard decision for me as the club has helped me a lot in terms of my professional playing career and stepping into my role as the strength and conditioning coach for the club.

"I’ve really enjoyed my time and I wish the club all the success in the future.”

We would like to thank Mark for his hard work and dedication during his time at the Banks’s Stadium and we wish him all the best of luck for the future.

Our new Fitness Coach will be Jack Deaman.

Jack previously worked at Swindon Town where he did a season with the club’s academy and two with the first team.

He also studied at the University of Bath and completed internships at Leicester City and Stoke City.

On joining the club, Jack said: "I'm really happy to be here and looking forward to working with the Head Coach and this group of players."
