A guide for supporters ahead of Aston Villa match

21 July 2021

Here is a handy guide for supporters visiting the Banks’s Stadium tomorrow for our pre-season friendly against Aston Villa.

With staff continuing to self-isolate, the Club Shop will remain closed until at least the remainder of this week.

We are also unable to process online orders at present.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Tickets are still available to Walsall supporters with a previous booking history, please do not come to the window to purchase tickets for the game if you don’t have booking history with us.

The Ticket Office window will be open from 4pm and will be open up until kick-off.

Tickets for away supporters are sold out and will not be available.

Please remember, cash will not be accepted at the Ticket Office.

You can also purchase online up until kick-off.

The Banks’s Stadium is now a cashless venue.

Cash will not be accepted across the Ticket Office, Kiosks, Club Shop and hospitality areas.

Any supporter who does not have a credit or debit card will be able to load cash onto a gift card that can be used at kiosks, bars and hospitality areas.

Supporters who wish to deposit cash will need to go to window five of the Ticket Office to do this.

You will be able to upload £10, £20, £30 or £50 onto the gift card. Should you have money left over after the match, please keep your gift card and you will be able to top it up further at future matches.

Please bear with us as this is a new system being implemented and the pandemic has presented some challenges around staffing and supply. We appreciate your patience.

While we are still in the transitional period of moving cashless, the Green Zone Car Park and purchase of matchday programmes will be CASH ONLY.

Parking in the green zone car park is £5 and programmes will be priced at £2 for our pre-season friendlies (£3 for league matches).

We will communicate again with supporters once the transition has been completed.

There will be one concession unit for home supporters (on the corner of the HomeServe Stand and Poundland Main Stand).

The concession units will serve chips, burgers, hot dogs, pies, confectionary, hot drinks and soft drinks.

This concession unit will also serve alcohol.

There will also be two concession units for away supporters but these will not be serving alcohol.

Concession Units will accept both cash and card.

Please bear with us as this is a new system being implemented and the pandemic has presented some challenges around staffing and supply. We appreciate your patience.

There will be three kiosks open to home supporters.

Kiosk 7 (upper tier/left side), Kiosk 3 (HomeServe lower tier – by Community Stand) and Kiosk 1 (corner of the main stand by the University of Wolverhampton stand) will be open.

Please note, all other kiosks will be closed.

Both the Mick Kearns Community Hub and the Stadium Suite will be open before the game, at half-time and for an hour after the final whistle.

Supporters will be able to purchase programmes outside the stadium from our programme sellers.

There will also be a small number available at the Ticket Office.

While face coverings aren’t mandatory, we advise and encourage supporters to wear a face covering where possible, particularly when inside and walking around the stadium.

Please note, supporters will not be able to access the Park Inn Hotel bar at any point.

The hotel is being used for people in quarantine after travel.
