Following our recent poll on social media, we can confirm details regarding a new format for our pre-match music at home matchdays.
Walsall Football Club created a poll on Survey Monkey for Saddlers fans to vote for a brand new run-out track from the list of options, of which 1,984 responses were collected.
Following the closure of the poll, we can confirm One Step Beyond (by Madness) as the winner and the new official run-out track. Here are the top three as voted for by supporters:
1st – One Step Beyond – Madness
2nd – She Wore a Yellow Ribbon
3rd – Take Me Back ‘Ome – Slade
We would like to thank all those who partook in the poll and these changes to our schedule will be incorporated in time for our next home league game, where we welcome Crawley Town to the Banks’s Stadium on Tuesday 7th December, kick-off 7.45pm.
Another poll will follow in due course to determine a new post-match anthem.
