Community Programme launch new Annual Report

22 April 2021

Walsall FC Community Programme are pleased to launch their Annual Report for 2020.

The booklet highlights to positive impact achieved by the Community Programme, and the club, in the last year.

As well as activities under Walsall FCCP’s key themes of Education, Health, Engagement and Sport, the report also shows some of the ways the scheme helped the local community during the Covid-19 pandemic.

On launching the report, Community Director Adam Davy said: “2020 was a tough year for everyone, but we are proud of the impact our club and programme were able to have in the community.

“While some of our core programmes had to be put on hold during the various lockdowns, we were still pleased to provide activities to keep the community engaged.

“From delivering personal protective equipment, to supporting local food banks and creating activity challenges, we were able to help in a number of ways.

“I hope that our participants, partners, supporters and staff are proud to share our achievements. I hope everyone reads and enjoys the report and can see how important the club is for the town, now more than ever.

“We’re currently building back to full capacity, and are looking forward to a positive future as we deliver on our strategy and support Covid recovery at the same time.”
