Walsall Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of forward Adan George on loan from Birmingham City until January.
The 18-year-old signed his first pro-contract with Blues back in the summer and has already featured twice for the first team – against Cambridge United in the Carabao Cup and against Brentford on the opening day of the Championship season.
George had a loan spell at Bromsgrove Sporting in 2018 and impressed during Birmingham’s run in last season’s FA Youth Cup.
Saddlers boss Darrell Clarke was pleased to add the striker to his squad.
“Adan will be a good addition to the squad”
“He’s fast, powerful and is capable of scoring goals so will be an exciting addition to the team.
“In these difficult and challenging times, we’re really grateful to Birmingham for allowing him to join on loan without us having to contribute towards his wages and therefore at no cost to the Club.”
George is keen to impress during his spell with the Saddlers and is looking forward to the challenge.
"I'm really excited to be joining the club, they're a good side and it's a good environment for me to learn and experience league football.
"I'm looking to impress and score as many goals as i can whilst still learning and trying to improve my game.
"For those who don't know me, I'm a quick and powerful player who loves running at players but more than anything, I love to score goals."
