Walsall Football Club would like to place on record its thanks to season ticket holders who have to-date opted to leave their money in the club at this most difficult time for all.
Supporters were given three options to choose from which could see them claim a full refund on their season ticket, a pro-rata refund or leave their money in the club and have free access to matches on iFollow as well as have their name added to the design of a commemorative third kit next season and to a plaque in the Community Hub.
The response from Saddlers fans has been fantastic as the vast majority have opted not to request a refund.
Walsall Chairman Leigh Pomlett expressed his gratitude to supporters who have not asked for a refund and is delighted with the return.
“I’m very pleased to say 87% of fans have not requested any refunds of any sorts, which is remarkable,” said Leigh.
“11% have and that’s fine. 2% have gone for the compensation package so all in all it’s a fantastic and selfless gesture of support by the Fans.
“I’d like to thank all our supporters for sticking with us as it was really important.
“As ever I will continue to keep supporters informed and updated.”
