Walsall Football Club are offering an opportunity for an individual to join our Academy as Head of Academy Recruitment on a voluntary basis.
The focus will be to recruit players that for the Walsall Football Club Academy, focusing on the Under 16 Age Group.
We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, hardworking and passionate about working within football. In addition to recruiting players, the successful candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination and recruitment of Academy Scouts (with the Academy Manager and Academy Secretary) and also formulating, organising and monitoring scout activity plans and reports.
Applicants must possess the FA Talent ID Level 2 Certificate, a full UK driving licence and will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and will work closely with the Academy Manager and Lead Phase Coaches on the recruitment of players. Further information is available in the Job Description.
Whilst initially the role will be on a voluntary basis, the role will be subject to review when feasible.
