Refund package confirmed for Season Ticket holders

9 June 2020

Following confirmation from the EFL that the 2019-20 season will not be completed on the pitch due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the club can announce our plans to compensate Season Ticket Holders for the four unfulfilled home fixtures.

Chairman Leigh Pomlett has confirmed that season ticket holders will be able to claim a refund but has also announced a package offer as an alternative that he is encouraging season ticket holders to take advantage of.

“There will be compensation due to season ticket holders for games that won’t be played and we will give the option to fans to have a refund pro-rata to their season ticket cost,” said Pomlett.

“We are also putting a package together which will give you as much, in fact more value than a refund would.

"I would prefer supporters to consider taking the package at this time as I don’t want cash coming out of the business but I utterly respect that cash for families is very tight so if you would like a refund, you will get a refund on a pro-rata basis but if you can, please consider taking the package.”

All 2019-20 Season Ticket holders will be able to claim a pro-rata refund to the value of their season ticket if required or alternatively claim the following Compensation Package:

 - Free ticket to a home pre-season friendly fixture;

- Voucher to bring a friend free of charge to two home league games in 20/21; and

- Claim a 20% discount off the 2020-21 replica shirt

The above applies to adult and senior citizen season tickets. Saddlers Crew Season Ticket Holders can receive a £12 refund or enjoy a free ticket to a home pre-season friendly fixture and claim a 20% discount off the 2020/21 replica shirt.

Any supporters who have purchased individual match tickets for the remaining home and away games will be able to claim a refund as and when the Banks’s Stadium re-opens.

Details on how to claim your refund or above package will be released in due course and once the Stadium is fully re-opened to the general public.
