Walsall Football Club delivered parcels of food to two foodbanks in the local area this morning.
Saddlers stars Liam Kinsella, Jack Rose, Cameron Norman and Josh Gordon all helped deliver the food to Walsall North Foodbank and Bloxwich and Blakenall Foodbank.
As well as the club’s donation, we also had plenty of donations from Saddlers fans that we were able to deliver.
Our partners Pom’s Kitchen and Deli and Waterside Foods also provided food packages that were delivered today.
After helping to deliver the food parcels to Walsall North Foodbank, Saddlers midfielder Kinsella said: “It was nice to go and help deliver food to the foodbank and see the fantastic work the volunteers do. It was great that so many fans were able to donate as well.”
Goalkeeper Jack Rose added: “It was good to be able to go and help out. Hopefully the donations from the club and the fans will make a big difference to a lot of families.”
