Walsall midfielder Stuart Sinclair has called on the Saddlers to regain momentum in the coming weeks.
After a four match winning run last month, Darrell Clarke’s side have suffered back-to-back defeats against Salford City and Leyton Orient.
The 31-year-old wants the Saddlers to build consistency and already has his eye on Saturday’s clash with Cheltenham Town.
“We look forward to Saturday and we need to be positive and build some momentum back up,” Sinclair said.
“We had four wins on the bounce so it’s about being consistent.
“If we can be consistent, then we can start to climb and look forward.
“As a club, players, staff and fans we need to try and galvanise the club and bring some consistency because I think that’s lacked for quite a while.”
There were 852 Walsall fans at Leyton Orient on Saturday.
Sinclair was frustrated that the team couldn’t send them home happy and praised them for their outstanding support so far this season.
“It’s been fantastic home and away,” he commented.
“The passion they show is unbelievable and that’s why it’s frustrating because in the first half we’re pushing forward but the second half is so disappointing and it was shown in us and in the fans.
“That’s why this club can move forward because it has such passion and we need to make sure we produce that on the pitch.”
The Saddlers return to the Banks’s Stadium in their next league game against.
