Walsall manager Darrell Clarke has been nominated for the September Manager of the Month award, while defender James Clarke is on the shortlist for Player of the Month.
The Saddlers won three and drew one of their five league matches during September, keeping three clean sheets along the way.
The Walsall boss will be up against Crewe Alexandra manager Dave Artell, Forest Green Rovers chief Mark Cooper and Cheltenham Town’s Michael Duff.
Elsewhere, defender James Clarke has been nominated for the Player of the Month award after scoring two spectacular goals against Scunthorpe United and Crawley Town.
The 29-year-old is competing with Crewe midfielder Tommy Lowery, Bradford City defender Paudie O’Connor and Exeter City attacking midfielder Lee Martin.
The winner of both awards will be announced on Friday 11th October.
