Walsall to support Kick It Out campaign against Cambridge

15 November 2019

Walsall FC has designated today’s match vs Cambridge United in support of Kick It Out. The players of both teams will be warming up in Kick It Out t-shirts before today’s match and the Captains will be wearing a Kick It Out branded armband.

Additionally, we welcome Walsall Society for the Blind and Guide Dogs for the Blind who do wonderful work supporting our local community living with sight loss and visual impairments. We also welcome Walsall FC DSA (Disabled Supporters Association) and representatives from local Clubs’ DSAs who are all working to improve the matchday experiences of disabled supporters of their Clubs. At half-time, representatives of these organisations will be joining us in the St Francis Group Stand for a photograph to show our unification against discrimination of all kinds in football.

Walsall Society for the Blind, Guide Dogs for the Blind and the Walsall FC DSA will be in the Stadium Suite before today’s match. Supporters are encouraged to have a chat with them and find out about the work they are doing and how you can get involved with any of these organisations.

As a football club and a community, Walsall FC offers its support to the Kick It Out campaign and would like to emphasise that discrimination of any kind is not welcome here at Banks’s Stadium. If you do feel uncomfortable at any point during your visit to Banks’s Stadium, please contact a Steward.
