To celebrate World Book Day, Walsall FC Community Programme have partnered with WHSmith, the National Literacy Trust and the Premier League to give away FREE children’s books at Saturday’s game against Fleetwood.
Walsall FC and 44 other professional clubs involved in the Premier League Primary Stars education programme are running pop-up bookshops on match days to celebrate World Book Day.
Paul Larvin, Community Manager for Education said: “It’s fantastic we have been able to work with everyone involved to offer free children’s books at the weekend.
“With extra children attending through the School Partners initiative, we hope lots of young supporters take advantage of the offer and head down to the Fan Zone in the Community Stand on Saturday.”
Head to the Fan Zone before the game or at half-time to pick up your free World Book Day voucher to exchange for one of ten free books on offer.
