Walsall FC Community Programme are hosting free healthy lifestyle sessions, starting next week (1 July).
The Walsall Happier You (WHY) health initiative, in partnership with Public Health Walsall, involves weekly activities and walking around the stadium for over-35s, along with lifestyle workshops at Walsall Football Club.
The WHY Stadium sessions will run every Wednesday from 6.30-7.30pm at the Banks’s Stadium.
Following the success of the programme, Walsall FCCP are now running two additional WHY sessions.
There will be WHY Park sessions, hosted at King’s Hill Park in Darlaston on Tuesday evenings (6-7pm), with a guided walk around the park.
These two sessions will provide supervised activities for children while you walk.
And the Banks’s Stadium will also host WHY ‘Football Fans in Training’ on Friday evenings (6-7.30pm).
WHY FFIT offers targeted training with qualified coaches and personal trainers, using Walsall FC facilities.
All ‘Walsall Happier You’ sessions are completely FREE to join and will run until December.
If you are interested in getting involved, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Community Office on 01922 644742.
