Walsall FC are delighted to confirm the signing of winger Wes McDonald on a short-term deal.
The 22-year-old spent last season with Yeovil Town, making 12 appearances for the Glovers in all competitions.
He has also played first-team football for Solihull Moors and Nuneaton, on loan from Birmingham City, where he came through the academy.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be here,” McDonald told iFollow Walsall. “I’m buzzing and can’t wait to get started at such a great club like Walsall.
“I’m a creative player and try to create chances, score goals and get assists. I always look to work hard and I’ve played in this league before so I know what to expect.
“I’m looking forward to going away with the lads [to Poland]. I’ve spoken to a few of them and they seem a real good bunch of lads.
“I’m delighted the manager has given me this opportunity and I want to repay him on the pitch.”
Manager Darrell Clarke added: “Wes comes in with something to prove.
“He did well at Yeovil last year before injury ruled him out, but he’s fully fit now and has got all the attributes a wide player should have.
“I’m looking forward to working with him.”
