Saddlers striker Andy Cook has been nominated for the PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month for January after scoring five goals in four games.
The 28-year-old scored superb solo goals against Charlton Athletic and Plymouth Argyle, either side of a match-winning hat-trick against Gillingham.
Walsall's top scorer, who has also been shortlisted for Sky Bet League Player of the Month, is up against Luton's James Collins and Matthew Pearson, Plymouth's Ruben Lameiras, Barnsley's Alex Mowatt and Charlton's Ben Purrington.
