Andy Cook’s outstanding performances in recent weeks have seen him nominated for January’s League One Player of the Month.
The 28-year-old scored five goals in four League One appearances in January, including a match-winning hat-trick against Gillingham at Priestfield.
Cook, who has 16 goals in all competitions this season, is up against Jacob Brown of Barnsley, James Collins of Luton Town and Ruben Lameiras of Plymouth Argyle.
The winner will be announced on Friday after the judging panel, comprising Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Ivor Davies, have cast their votes.
