Walsall Football Club is delighted to announce a new Formalwear Clothing Partnership with premium menswear brand LUKE.
LUKE will be supplying the Saddlers Players, officials and directors with suits and shirts as the start of the partnership. There will also be a capsule collection stocked at the club shop and online at www.luke1977.com, keep a look out as will be launched in the near future.
LUKE is a leading menswear fashion brand divided into LUKE the Technical Tailor and LUKE Sport. LUKE the Technical Tailor is a premium menswear offering with sharp silhouettes, while LUKE Sport is a full lifestyle collection inspired by athleisure and British street style.
LUKE is an independently owned design-led British fashion label co-founded by Luke Roper, who grew up in Walsall Wood.
Luke attended Shire Oak Academy (formerly Shire Oak School) and went on to Walsall College to study Fashion and Textiles before undertaking a degree at the renowned Central Saint Martin’s in London.
They boast a range of stores across the UK, with several in the Midlands including Merry Hill, Resorts World and the Bullring in Birmingham.
With a rich sporting portfolio ranging from golf and cricket through to football and boxing, it’s fantastic to have a renowned international brand, owned by a local lad on board with Walsall FC.
“Having grown up in in Walsall Wood and still having very strong ties to the area, it’s personally very exciting and a proud moment to be partnering with the club,” said LUKE Creative Director Luke Roper.
“We dressed the team and management for the Football League Trophy back in 2015 so it’s come full circle. Walsall FC fit perfectly into our sport portfolio and we’re looking forward to working with the club, the fans and everyone associated with The Saddlers,” said Roper.

“We’ve had an excellent relationship with the brand, and Luke and his family personally, since they supplied our suits for our first ever Wembley appearance back in 2015. His brand is synonymous with the area and this formalises our relationship and we are looking forward to working with Luke and his team on a number of exciting projects.”
