Walsall boss Darrell Clarke insists his side will be ready for their New Year’s Day clash with Leyton Orient.
The Saddlers will quickly return to action tomorrow following on from their frustrating defeat to Carlisle United on Sunday.
Clarke is keen to see his side bounce back from the setback and end the busy festive period on a high but has stressed the quick turnaround won’t faze his team.
"Just play the games,” he said.
“We don't choose the fixtures, we'll be ready.
"We'll put a team out against Orient and try and get the three points. Try and bounce back, that's what we've got to do.
"I'm frustrated, disappointed and angry that we haven't built on something and held on. That's the problem, a lot of home games we've been the better team.
"The fine lines of the footballing world. There are areas of the pitch that we need to strengthen in the window.
"Three of four, not wholesale changes. The group is a tight-knit group, the spirit in the camp is very, very good.
"The effort and endeavour is good it's just a mentality thing.”
